PATRICIA WITT
Patricia A. Witt, 79, Park Falls, died with her husband and daughter at her side in the Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. She was born in Park Falls, Wisconsin, on October 29, 1938, the daughter of Henry and Beatrice (Christianson) Kundinger. She was a 1956 graduate of the Park Falls High School. She was married to Robert Witt on March 22, 1958, in Park Falls. She was employed by the Veteran’s Administration in Dallas, Texas, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Georgia and Texas, and then in Park Falls as a Purchasing Agent for the United States Forest Service until the time of her retirement in 1997. She was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Park Falls. She was instrumental in an organization that smuggled Bibles behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and friends, traveling the United States and Europe.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; by one daughter, Kelly (Randy) Erickson, Prentice; by five grandchildren, Crystal, Raeanna, Travis, Heidie, and Denae; bu five great grandchildren; and by one brother, Dennis Kundinger, Park Falls. She is preceded in death by her parents; and by two brothers, Wally and Alan Kundinger.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 28, at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Park Falls with Father Shaji Pazhukkathara celebrating the Funeral Mass. Pat’s family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Inurnment will be in the Nola Cemetery in Park Falls at a later date.
