Patricia A Bolder

Patricia A. Bolder, 72, a longtime Merrill area resident, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill, seven years after suffering a debilitating stroke.

Pat was born September 18, 1946 in Merrill to Robert J.B. and Dorothy (Sell) Klug. She was married to Rick Bolder on September 24, 1966 also in Merrill. Pat enjoyed working with Rick at Bolder Pottery and had been a daycare provider in Merrill for many years.  Pat was a wonderful mom and truly enjoyed following her sons, grandchildren and other family members in their sporting and academic adventures. She also enjoyed gardening.

Pat Bolder is survived by her husband – Rick; her oldest son - Rocky (Karmin) Bolder of Milladore, WI and their children -  Ben (Melanie Brandl), Kaleb, Hannah and Rachael; and her youngest son - Jesse (Stacy) Bolder of Tomahawk and their children - Kevin (Jordan Schmidt) and Drew Bolder. She is further survived by her siblings - Barbara (Emil) Hintze of Merrill, Jean (Nav) Meyer of Merrill and Bob (Kay) Klug of Merrill; and brothers & sisters in law - Beth Klug of Oshkosh, Terry Klug of Merrill, Chuck (Mary) Bolder of Merrill & Dick (Judy) Koller of Janesville, WI.

Pat is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Judy, and brothers, Dave and Tom.

A Celebration of Pat Bolder’s life will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at The Eagle’s Club in Merrill from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Memorials are appreciated to Stange Park Improvement Fund or St. John’s Lutheran School.

The Bolder family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Pine Crest for the wonderful care she received.
