Patricia F Heikkinen, age 91, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Tomahawk Health Services. Pat was born on May 1, 1930 in Rockford, IL to Carl & Ethel (Clure) Boote. Pat graduated from Rhinelander High School and then attended normal school where she earned her certification to be a teacher. She was married to Eino Heikkinen in 1959 in Rhinelander. Together, they had two children. Pat was an elementary school teacher in Tripoli and Cassian. She loved reading and gardening. Pat enjoyed playing cards with her card club. In her younger years, she enjoyed golfing. Pat worked at DeHart’s Mink Ranch for many years. Pat was a Sunday School Teacher and a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Pat is survived by her two sons – Steven (Carey) Heikkinen & Greg Heikkinen both of Tomahawk; and two sisters – Ruth Boote & Shirley Zerbe both of Florida. She is further survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, husband – Eino and 4 siblings. The Graveside Service for Patricia Heikkinen will take place at 11:30AM at Union Grove Cemetery in Harshaw on Saturday, June 19th, 2021.
