Paul J Schoenecker

Paul J. Schoenecker, age 76 of Minocqua, WI died peacefully in his home surrounded by his children on Wednesday, November 13th. Paul was born on February 5, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI the son of John and Mona (nee Hellickson) Schoenecker. Paul retired from the steamfitters Union Local 601 in 1994. He then built his dream home in Minocqua, WI; where he and his wife, Phyllis called home. He enjoyed fishing with his sons and his good friend Richard Halling and enjoyed hunting and traveling with his wife to Arizona and California during the winter months. He loved watching his grandchildren and watching them grow up. Survived by his Children: John of Waukesha, WI; Jeff (Terri) of Oconomowoc, WI; Julie (Jon Warren) of Waukesha, WI and Joe (Lori) of Arbor Vitae, WI and by his Grandchildren: Jeremy, Aaron, Rebecca, Amy and Paul and by Great Grandchildren: Blake, Olivia, Haiden and Charisma. He is further survived by his Brother, John and Sister, Barbara and many nieces, nephews; special friend, Lonna Smith of Woodruff and faithful companion, Chase and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; his parents and brother, Steven. Memorial Mass will be on Wednesday, November 20th at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI. There will also be a Service on Thursday, November 21st at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Waukesha, WI with a reception to follow at Albanese Roadhouse, 2301 Bluemound Rd, Waukesha, WI.
