Pauline Kangas

Pauline Kangas, age 73, W7639 State Hwy. 86, Tomahawk, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at her home under Ministry Home Hospice Care. Pauline was born April 13, 1938 in Spirit, the daughter of Kelly and Almeda (Fields) Crowell. She married Carl Kangas on May 8, 1959 in Tomahawk. Pauline was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and basket weaving. She was a horticulturist, and loved flower gardens. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Survivors include: Husband Carl Kangas Tomahawk Children Carrie Jacobs Fishers, Indiana Russell Kangas Austell, Georgia Brothers Dugan (Mary) Crowell Goodyear, Arizona Leland (Ann) Crowell Tomahawk Mike Crowell Tripoli Frank Crowell Appleton Art (Audrey) Crowell Adell Leo (Cindy) Crowell Tomahawk Sisters Mina (Jim) Miller Weyauwega Colleen Crowell Appleton Kathy Weisinger Tomahawk Leah Peltzer Appleton Pauline is further survived by four grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one brother. Funeral Services for Pauline Kangas will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow services at Spirit Hillcrest Cemetery in the Town of Spirit.
