PHILIP MICHAEL LILE

Philip “Mike” Lile, 70, Phillips, died on Monday, August 18, 2014 at his home with his family under the care of Flambeau Home Health Care and Hospice.

He was born on October 10, 1943, in Phillips, the son of Philip and Virginia Lile. He attended and graduated from Philips High School. He was married to Shirley Kadlecek on May 20, 1967 in Phillips.

He was employed in Milwaukee for 5 years, then Omark Industries in Prentice, and the at Marquip in Phillips for 37 years until the time of his retirement. In his free time he was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Phillips.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, Phillips, by his 3 children: Julie Ann (Jerry) Litvinoff, Woodruff, Wi., Michele M. (Paul) Rick, Deerfield, Wi., and Patrick M. (Julianna) Lile, Spring Grove, Mn., by 8 grandchildren, and by 3 brothers: Nick Lile, Kentucky, Bill (Sue) Lile Chaparral, N.M., and Raymond (Lisa) Lile, St. Francis, Wi.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Phillips, with Fr. Gerald Hagen and Deacon James Celba officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Phillips. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the church until the time of the service.
