Phillip Bogie, age 92, 1004 Timm St., Tomahawk, passed away October 22, 2007 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk. Phillip was born December 29, 1914 in Tomahawk to Leo and Anna Bogie. He married Dorothy Heschke on July 2, 1938 in Merrill; she survives. Phillip was a life-long Tomahawk resident, graduating from Tomahawk High School in 1932. Phillip enjoyed playing golf and played on the Edgewater Thursday Night Men's League. He also enjoyed going to Green Bay Packer games. He was a charter member of the Tomahawk Booster Club. Phillip was employed with Tomahawk Garage from 1936 to 1959, and later was the Tomahawk City Clerk from 1959 until his retirement in 1976. He was Navy Seabees veteran and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Phillip is further survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister - Marion Rose. Funeral Services for Phillip Bogie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
