Poul Larsen, Age 80, Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 30, 2016 at his cabin in Tomahawk, WI with his wife by his side. He was born on August 27, 1935 in Milwaukee, the son and only child of Henry and Josephine Larsen. Poul graduated high school from West Allis Nathan Hale in 1954. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was an outstanding employee for Allis Chalmers for 30 years before retiring in 1984. For the past 25 years, Poul enjoyed spending the winters in Cape Coral, FL and the summers in Tomahawk, WI with Patsy. He enjoyed precious time spent with many friends and relatives, especially time spent at the lake with his children, grandchildren, and nieces. His greatest accomplishment was achieving the impossible; he was the perfect husband to his wife Patsy for 55 years.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Mark (Virginia) Larsen and Kathleen (Jeffrey) Papa; grandchildren, Melissa (Nicholas) Smart, Katelyn Papa, Poul Michael Larsen and John Henry Larsen, many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved 4-legged furry friends Snoopy and Mickey.
The Funeral Service for Poul Larsen, will take place at 1:00PM on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Gary Uttech will officiate. Visitation will take place from 11:00AM until the time of service at 1:00PM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors will immediately follow the service.
