Rachael "Shelley" Carroll

Rachael “Shelley” Carroll, age 61 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Monday, June 25th at her residence. Shelley was born on June 16, 1957 in Asheville, NC the daughter of Jack and Shirley (nee Rice) Roberts. She graduated from Aurora East High School in Illinois and later married Michael Carroll on May 30, 1977.
Shelley was bookkeeper for Minocqua Sport Rental and past treasurer of Cross Country Cruisers. She loved spending time with the kids and grandkids. In her younger years she enjoyed art and exploring her creative side. She enjoyed the fine dining only Minocqua area offers. She loved visiting “Nails in the Woods.” Shelley had a big heart and always wanted to help. Her generosity will never be forgotten.
Shelley is survived by her husband, Michael and daughters; Jessica (Terry) Lerdal and Jenna (Craig) Clure and by her grandchildren; Weston and Huddy Lerdal and Kaylie Clure and further survived by her father, Jack Roberts and brother, Joe Roberts and by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Roberts and grandparents; Fred and Myrtle Rice and Ralph and Cilla Roberts and by her niece, Ivy Roberts.
Memorial Service for Shelley will be held on Thursday, June 28th at 6:30 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a Memorial Gathering from 5:00 PM till time of service.
