Ralph A. Jubert, age 74 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Thursday, September 29th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Ralph was born on January 20, 1942 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Ralph S. and Octavia ( Van Sustern) Jubert. Ralph married Janet Faulkner on April 4, 1964 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI. He was a graduate from Platteville Chef School in Madison.
Through the years he worked at AV-W Grade School as a custodian and maintenance person, worked for Purolator Courier, where he traveled the state of Wisconsin and was a courier and maintenance worker for Security State Bank. For 25 years he was a cook at Lac du Flambeau Grade School and he retired in 2008.
Ralph, with his wife, was a Girl Scout Leader for 32 years, for 5 different troops which encompassed 117 girls. He also taught religious classes at St. Patrick’s Church in Minocqua; St. Anthony’s Church in Lac du Flambeau; and at Holy Family Church in Woodruff. He played a key role in providing the Vacation Bible School for the past 4 years at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Ralph spent his life serving and helping others with a heartfelt focus on children.
He is survived by his Wife, Janet and by Brother; James (Sharon) Jubert and his Cousins: Ricki DeNoble and Father Augustan DeNoble. Further survived by his Sister and Brother-in-laws: Karen (Dick) Rocque, Nancy (Carl) Vaughn, Bob (Renee) Faulkner and William Faulkner and by his nieces and nephews: Renee (Jerry) Griep, Brandon, Shannon, Kelsey Griep and Collen Bussert; Bob Rocque, Richard and Thuy Rocque Rachel Dany, Kendall Dang; Lisa (Ross) Frish, David Van De Loo, Sara (Jason) Strutz, Mary Strutz, Stacy (Matt) Hollenberger, Jennifer, Jessica, Rachel Blatz; Brian (Rachel) Snyder, Jude, Caleb, Silas, Stephen Snyder.
Ralph was preceded in death by his Parents; Ralph and Octavia Jubert.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI with Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Woodruff, WI.
Memorial donations in memory of Ralph may be given to the family.
