Ralph R. Ruplinger, age 97, 841 S. Tomahawk Ave., Tomahawk, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 15, 2017 surrounded by his family and under the care of Ministry Home Hospice.
Ralph was born February 27, 1920 in Marathon to Alphonse and Frieda (Kruesel) Ruplinger. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army and served in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Ina “Susie” Martin on March 14, 1943 while being stationed at Fort Benning Georgia. He worked for 37 years at O-I in Tomahawk and also did painting and wallpaper in many homes. Ralph and Ina were residents of both Tomahawk and Springfield, Tennessee. Together, they enjoyed traveling the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. Ralph loved to cut wood and travel to Army Reunions.

Ralph is further survived by 7 grandchildren: Jason (Jessi) Ruplinger, Tara (Brian) Tehako, Misty (Ron) Stemnock, Ryan (Kristi) Andrus, Gerod (Kelli)Truelove, Victor (Robyn) Krueger, and Sonja Krueger, 10 great grandchildren: Cody Andrus, Sevin Tehako, Kaitlin Ruplinger, Jacob Stemnock, Joseph Stemnock, Isaak Truelove, Ethan Andrus, Elijah Truelove, Liam Ruplinger, Ryan Ruplinger and Camden Andrus. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
The Funeral Service with Military Rites will be offered at 11:00AM on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Deacon Darrell will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:00AM until the time of Service at 11:00AM. Burial will take place in Springfield, Tennessee.
