Raymond Drewieck

Raymond “Drew” Drewieck, age 79, of 2197 Olson Road, Tomahawk, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. He was born August 28, 1937 in Milwaukee to Albert and Regina (Palkowski) Drewieck. He married Barbara Drews on June 7, 1959 in Milwaukee. She passed away in May of 2015. Drew spent 28 years in the United States Navy retiring as a Cryptologic Technician Chief Warrant Officer. He spent the next 20 years working for the state of Wisconsin maintenance department. He had been a resident of the Tomahawk area for over 25 years. Drew had also been employed at Treehaven for a number of years. Ray was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tomahawk. He enjoyed watching old movies. Surviving are: Children, Michael (Kristin) Drewieck Stoughton, WI Pami (Michael) Danks Tomahawk 2 Grandchildren, Hannah and Jacob. He is further survived by his cats, Oreo and Leslie, and a dog Gabi. In accordance with Ray’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately.
