Richard A. Monterman

Richard A. Monterman, age 73 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Saturday, February 8th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Richard was born on July 20, 1940 in Oak Park, Illinois the son of George and Dorothy (nee Brooks) Monterman. Richard was US Army Veteran and member of the Madsen Empey American Legion Post 89 and member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Illinois. He is survived by his life partner, Thomas Hornbuckle of Arbor Vitae, Aunt Toni Spevak and Cousin, Sandra Drobney both of Schaumburg, IL and by his beloved dogs; Sassy and Ghosty. Visitation will be at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI on Thursday, February 13th from 10:00 AM till 12:00 Noon with Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Arbor Vitae, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Vilas County Humane Society would be appreciated.
