Richard J. Eisenman, age 67, 113 Pine Ridge Lane, Tomahawk, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau following a 7 month battle with cancer.
Richard was born on January 7, 1944 to Winand and Ruth (Balck) Eisenman. He served in Vietnam from 1963-1967 with the US Navy. On November 15, 1969 Richard married Carol Leverance in Tomahawk. He worked at PCA for 38 years before he retired as a Maintenance/Planner Supervisor in 2006. Richard was a lifelong resident of Tomahawk and longtime member of the Tomahawk City Council and Lincoln County Board. He retired as Battalion Chief with the Tomahawk Fire Department after 25 years of service. Richard also enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, golfing and bowling.

Richard is further survived by 2 grandaughters: Olivia and Sophia. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services for Richard J. Eisenman will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 4p.m.-7p.m., with a Military Tribute at 7 p.m. Visitation will begin again on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.
