Richard L. Pierce

November 27, 1941 — February 13, 2022

Richard “Dick” Leroy Pierce, age 80 of Woodruff, WI passed away on February 13th at Park Manor in Park Falls, WI. Dick was born on November 27, 1941 in Sauk County, Wisconsin the son of Albert and Ruby Pierce. He graduated from Baraboo High School and then proudly served in the US Navy.
He married Patricia Ann Koch on October 15, 1966 and she survives. Dick owned and operated Libby’s Lawn Care and Snow Removal for many years. He was a member of the Madsen-Empey American Legion Post 89, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and North American Hunting Club. Dick enjoyed fishing, hunting, especially Elk hunting.
He is survived by his wife Patricia and by his daughter Tammy K. Pierce and son Andy R. (Mary) Pierce and grandchildren Korrin Hadland, Shantel Pierce, Andrew Pierce, Cory Pierce, Briana Pierce and Jacob Pierce and by great grandchildren Malia Methvin, Addilyn Methvin and Brylee Hadland-Methvin. He is also survived by his siblings William Pierce, Peggy Peitrantoni and Dennis Pierce and by many other relatives and friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Ruby Pierce and by his brother Don Pierce and sisters Jewel Pierce, Bonnie Bowen and Pam Johnson.
Celebration of Life for Dick will be held on Sunday, March 20th at the Madsen-Empey American Post 89 in Minocqua, Wi from 3:00 to 6:00 pm with Military Honors at 4:00 pm.
