Richard Meyers

Richard "Rich" Meyers, age 79, 1916 Pfeifer Road, Tomahawk, passed away May 5, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Rich was born June 15, 1929, the son of Joseph and Adele (Musch) Meyers. He married Helen Weizenicker on February 18, 1950. Rich was the former co-owner of the Ford dealership and of Meyers Marine in Tomahawk, and was known as an excellent handyman. Rich enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Helen. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Wife Helen Meyers Tomahawk 2 daughters Adele (Richard) Christensen Dodgeville, WI, Joan (Bruce) Myers Lyons, Colorado 1 son Leonard (Catherine) Meyers Tomahawk Rich is further survived by 5 grandchildren - Austin, Graham, Jeremy, Karen, and Derek, and 2 great grandchildren - Taylor and Jordan. A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard "Rich" Meyers will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7th at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home and again at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
