Richard Warren Becker

Richard Warren Becker, age 83 of Arbor Vitae, WI formerly of Woodstock, IL died on Friday, March 10th at his residence. Richard was born on October 31, 1933 in Woodstock, IL the son of Frank and Julia (nee Wirfs) Becker. Richard proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War as a Sound Ranger. He married Shirley McCannon on July 27, 1957.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years; Shirley and by his Son: Brian (Kristy) Becker and by 2 Daughters: Lori (Greg) Melland and Susan (Mike) Worthing and by 7 Grandchildren: Ashley (Fred) Niemuth, Amanda Becker, Alexis Belliveau, Michael and Mitchell Worthing and Andy (Sabrina Lowell) Kanter and Sarah (Brett Gibson) Kanter and by 4 Great Grandchildren: Harper and Quinn Kanter and Shyla Luppo and Gage Lowell and by 3 Brothers: Robert Becker, Ronald (Micki) Becker and Larry (Judy) Becker and 1 Sister; Barbara (Bob) Bittermann and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his Parents; Frank and Julia Becker and His Mother and Father-in-law, Fred and Alice McCannon and by 1 Son: Danny Becker.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in McHenry, IL with a visitation from 10:00 AM till time of service. Inurnment will take place at Woodland Cemetery in McHenry, IL at a later date.
