Richard F. Wohlers

Richard “Rick” Wohlers, age 71, of Killarney Drive, in Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield. Rick was born on December 18, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI to Gilbert & Elizabeth (Lowe) Wohlers. He married Ruth (Dusterhoft) Radke on April 15, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV. Together, they moved to Tomahawk in 2003 after their retirement. He loved nature and the beauty of the Northwoods. He loved fishing, reading and trips to the casino. Rick enjoyed his time with family especially playing cards and games. Rich is survived by his wife, Ruth; his step children, Patricia (Daniel) Bailey, of Waukesha, Suzanne Russ, of Dickenson, ND & Christopher Radke, of Longmont, CO; and 9 step grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas. The Funeral Service for Richard “Rick” Wohlers will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Rhinelander. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. The Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
