RICKY NIKKILA
Ricky Harold Nikkila, 59, Marshfield, former Town of Hill, Ogema resident, died in the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, on Monday, May 2. He was born on January 30, 1957, in Phillips, the son of Bessie and Harold Nikkila. He attended the Prentice High School. He was employed by Marathon Cheese and by Phillips Plastics Corporation. While living in Ogema he attended the First Lutheran Church in Ogema. In his free time he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by one brother, Kenneth (Nancy), Westboro, WI; by one sister, Cynthia (Thomas) Graun, Athens, WI; by a sister-in-law, Candis Nikkila, Westboro; by three nephews, Kenneth and Kevin Nikkila, Matthew Graun; and by one niece, Kimberly Graun; and by great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Dennis.
Memorial services will be held at the Heindl Funeral Home in Prentice at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 12, with Pastor Linda Strader of the First Lutheran Church of Ogema officiating. Inurnment will be in the Levitt Creek Cemetery in the Town of Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until the time of services.
