Robert "Bob" Erdmann

Robert “Bob” Erdmann, 84, of Prentice, WI, went peacefully into the Lord’s hands on November 7, 2022, at Rib Lake Health Services. Robert was born on June 13, 1938, in Catawba, WI, to Otto and Josephine (Vollendorf) Erdmann.

Robert was a graduate of Phillips high school. He enjoyed hunting and fishing early in his life, watching the Packers, Brewers, Nascar and Fox News. He was employed at various jobs throughout the years, from sandblasting large tanks, working at a feed mill, working with Conseco in Medford, with Coplan Electric, at Omark of Prentice, being a self employed electrician, and working many years at Marquip in Phillips, WI, as an electrician where he retired. He married Judith Flietner on June 29, 1963, in Kennan, WI.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Julie Staples, Coreena (John) Weiland, Brian Erdmann, and Michelle Erdmann; grandchildren, Thomas (Autumn) Erdmann, John (Heavan) Staples, Tiffany (Travis) Foster, and Morgan Wieland; and 5 great-grandchildren siblings, Della Wojcik and Edward (Corinne) Erdmann.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Hazel; and brother, Ralph Erdmann.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on November, 19, 2022, at the Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home, 761 South Street, Prentice, WI 54556, with Pastor Scott Holoubek officiating. A visitation will begin at noon and continue until the time of the service at the funeral home. Food and fellowship will follow the service at the Railroad Avenue Recreational Center, 1109 Railroad Ave, Prentice, WI. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
