Robert "Bob" Bushey, 86, formerly of the Pier-Willow area, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at Kennedy Park in Schofield.
Bob was born January 23, 1926 in Plover, Wisconsin to Rose and Raymond Bushey. He served his country in the US Navy, being honorably discharged in 1946. Bob was married to Theresa Bemowski on May 29, 1948; she passed away in 2004. He had been employed as a machinist, a carpenter, and from 1964 to 1985 he owned and operated Indian Point Resort in the Pier-Willow region. He had been instrumental in the formation of the Pier-Willow volunteer fire department and had served as its chief for several years.

He is further survived by 3 Great Grandchildren (Dominic, Jocelyn, and Grace), a niece, Sherry Bright, and 3 nephews, Raymond (Monica) Bushey, Dean (Cecelia) Bushey, and Kenneth Bushey. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a brother, James.
Funeral Services with Military Rites for Robert Bushey will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Dr. Jeff Hinds will officiate. Burial will be in the spring at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Pier-Willow. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
