Bob's valiant fight against cancer peacefully came to an end on the morning of August 26, 2015. He will be greatly missed by Alanagh, his wife of 47 years, as well as his children Heidi Koplitz (Corey), Trish Teichmiller (John), Eric Kleinschmidt (Elaine), and his grandchildren Cassie Diers, Hailey, Tyler and Cameryn Teichmiller, Luca and Parker Kleinschmidt and his crew at Arbor Vitae Marine.
A long time resident of Arbor Vitae, WI, Bob was born in Milwaukee on March 12, 1947 to Clarence and Gizella (Hauser) Kleinschmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Norma Cummings.
Bob, otherwise known as Grandpa Bob, Bobbo, Klink or Bobbi-O was happiest on the flybridge of his boat in Mexico, searching for dolphins, whales, or those those elusive deep sea fish, for his family and friends. He loved the adrenaline rush of racing stock car and the comeradie of his fellow racers. He cooked great Thai food on the holidays with recipes he gathered while serving as an Air Force staff sergeant during the Vietnam War, where he was stationed in Thailand. He taught his children the importance of hard work done well, and will forever be known as an honest and hard-working businessman.
His grandchildren were blessed to have a grandfather with a desire to give them experiences he never had growing up. Through those experiences, incredible memories were made.
