Robert Dalle Ave

Robert J. “Bob” Dalle Ave, age 79 of Hazelhurst, WI died on Saturday, December 28th at the Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff, WI. Bob was born on June 18, 1940 in Jessieville, Michigan the son of Marchello and Antoinette (Mussati) Dalle Ave. Bob graduated from JE Murphy High School in Hurley, WI and received his bachelor of science degree from UW LaCrosse. He married Karen E. Thomas on December 26, 1964, she survives.

Bob was a physical education teacher at Winter, Menasha and MHLT school districts. He was a longtime member of the NRA and the AOMCI-Antique Outboard Motor Club Incorporated. Bob loved hunting, fishing and collecting old outboards.

He is survived by his wife Karen and by 2 sons Todd (fiancé Renee Metz) Dalle Ave and Scott (Gail) Dalle Ave and by 9 grandchildren and by his sister Carol (Ronald) Thomas and sister and brother in law Pam (Ted) Howland and by nieces Wendy (Doug) Brem, Laura (Mike) LeBeau and Kim (Bob) Popka.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Marchello and Antoinette and by his mother and father in law Lawrence and Chrystal Thomas.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, January 3rd at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel from 3:00 to 5:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00 PM
