Robert Findler, age 76, of Tomahawk, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 12, 2017 under the care of Ministry Home Hospice.
Bob was born on September 19, 1940 in Milwaukee to Eugene & Antoinette (Lubinski) Findler. He was married to Patricia Plesh in November of 1959 in Pewaukee. Together, they had three children. In 1970 Bob & Pat moved to Tomahawk from Hartland. He was a youth counselor at Lincoln hills, he then owned and operated Lake Ice Company, and then he became a mink rancher for many years. Over the span of 35 years, Bob & Pat were foster parents to 53 children. He loved fishing and hunting, playing cards and cribbage.
Bob is survived by his three daughters – Teri (Paul) Garner, of Tomahawk, Roberta (Eric) Gillette, of Richfield, and Kim (Jim) Crass, of Irma. He is further survived by his brother – Daniel (Lois) Findler, of Arizona; 2 sisters – Genie Kerr, of Pewaukee and Michelle (Larry) Jacobsen, of Tomahawk; 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife – Pat.
Bob’s family will celebrate his life privately.
