Robert C Hora

Robert Charles Hora, 83, of Prentice, WI, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024. Bob was born on July 27, 1940, son to Charles and Lillian (Dusek) Hora, in Phillips, WI. Bob married Beverly Rafko on February 27, 1959, and they spent 63 wonderful years together. 

He attended Phillips High School, graduating in 1958. Bob joined the National Guard previous to his graduation. He worked as a logger most of his life. Bob loved reading, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Donna Schwobe, Rhonda (Steve) Hartmann, and Douglas (Shawnda) Hora; grandchildren, Wayne Hora, Ryan Schwobe, Todd (Julie) Pemper, Jacob (Tonisha) Hora, and Carlina (Joe) Frombach; seven great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; and sister, Sally (Tony) Kerner. 

Bob is preceded in death by his parents. 

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
