ROBERT MAKOVSKY
Robert James Makovsky, 38, Town of Worcester, Phillips, died on Sunday, August 31, 2014. He was born on May 18, 1976, in Medford, Wisconsin, the son of James and Bernadine (Lazar) Makovsky. He was a 1994 graduate of the Prentice High School. He owned and operated Top Notch Tree Service, and worked as a mechanic for United Price Farms of Phillips and North End Heavy Duty of Park Falls. In his free time he enjoyed helping his family and friends, kayaking, fishing, camping, and attending religious revivals.
He was married to Jessica Lane on March 8, 1997, and to this union three children were born, Tara, Ethan, and Justin, all of Phillips; he is also survived by one granddaughter, Maleah; by his mother, Bernadine Makovsky, Prentice; and by four brothers and sisters, Sheri Jablonsky, Prentice, Douglas Makovsky, Phillips, Brandon (Arlene) Makovsky, Prentice, and Rebecka Makovsky, Prentice. He is preceded in death by his father, James, and by one sister, Leigh Ann Makovsky.
Memorial services will be held at the Heindl Funeral Home in Prentice at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 6, with Father Gerald Hagen officiating. Inurnment will be in the Catawba Cemetery in Catawba. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday.
