Robert “Bobby” Kahle, age 75, of Cloverbelt Road, Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital.
Bob was born on February 6, 1941 in Tomahawk to Johnny & Emma (Thompson) Kahle. He was a 1959 graduate of Tomahawk High School. After high school, Bob joined the National Guard. He married Diane Major on September 24, 1974 in Missouri; together they have two daughters. Bob was a gifted athlete; he played football, basketball and baseball in high school, and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds. After his athletic career ended, he moved back to Tomahawk and opened the Roadhaus Supper Club & Restaurant. Bob loved entertainment; He shared that with the community by hosting many great entertainers at the Roadhaus. Even into his later years, Bob continued to seek great entertainers to share with his family and friends. He was also a partner in owning the Autohaus. Bob enjoyed growing and selling Christmas Trees, logging and working in the woods. He was the founding father of the Buckhaus Hunting Shack. He was an avid golfer, hunter and WI Badger Fan. Bob was proud of his many accomplishments, including designing and building his dream home, but he was especially proud of his family & grandkids.
Bob is survived by his wife, Diane Kahle; his two daughters, Cori (Joe) Harrison, of New Berlin & Lee Maree (Bryan Schaeffer) Peritz, of Tomahawk. He is further survived by 3 grandchildren, Taylor Lee, Henry Robert & Rex Robert, many nieces, nephews & countless friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, brother- Dick, sister- Dorothy & son- Kurt Kevin Kahle.
The Funeral Service for Bobby Kahle will take place at 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Pastor Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 18 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
