Robert Konkel

Robert "Bob" Konkel, age 57, 3373 Oneida Lake Road, Harshaw, died from an unexpected illness on July 27, 2009 at his home. Bob was born June 24, 1952 in Milwaukee, the son of Harry and Vera (Osborne) Konkel. He was a long-time resident of the Tomahawk and Harshaw areas. He owned and operated Konkel Painting for many years. Bob was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed music, playing guitar, the outdoors, fishing, and restoring cars. Survivors include: 3 brothers Michael Konkel Tomahawk Kenneth (Jan) Konkel Arkdale Ralph (Barbara) Konkel Rothschild 3 sisters Jeanette (Ronald) Lance West Bend Barbara (Thomas) Loew Camp Douglas Patricia Vasquez Phoenix, Arizona Bob is further survived by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Bob Konkel will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2009 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
