Robert Kubes

Robert E. Kubes, age 84, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk, where he resided for the past 12 years. Bob was born in Chicago, the son of John and Josephine (Sizenka) Kubes. He was married to Mabel Moritz-Reid; she passed away in 1990. Bob moved to the Tomahawk area in 1972. He was employed as a custodian with the Tomahawk School District for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, shooting pool, and was a strong swimmer. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being around people. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include: Children Debbie Kubes Centennial, Colorado Randy (Kathy) Kubes Idledale, Colorado Bob is further survived by grandchildren, Nathan and Kyle, and great grandchildren, Riley and Eli. A Memorial Service with full military honors for Bob Kubes will take place at the Funeral Home on March 30, 2013 at 11:00AM. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM.
