Robert Nitch

Robert R. Nitch, age 85, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away January 9, 2013 at the Pepper Family Hospice Home in Barrington, Illinois. Robert was born April 22, 1928 in Chicago, the son of Walter and Julia (Crook) Nitch. He was married to Patricia Crosley; she passed away in 2006. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the Merchant Marines. He was the owner and operator of an oil distribution company for many years. He was a former member of St. Raymond Catholic Church in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Survivors include: Sons Thomas (Cindy) Nitch Round Lake, Illinois Jason Nitch Vero Beach, Florida Robert is further survived by three grandchildren - Robbie, Randy, and Ryan Nitch, and three great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass for Robert Nitch will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church 22333 W. Erhart Rd., Mundeline, Illinois 60066. Fr. Nate Tayne will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the spring at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
