Robert Reilly

Robert I. Reilly, age 83, of 2271 Lake Nokomis Road, Tomahawk passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona. Bob was born on November 16, 1926 in Gilman, Illinois to Irving and Mary (King) Reilly. He had served his country in the US Army. Bob was first married to June G. Nickels, she passed away in March of 1978, and on February 10, 1979 he married Ruth D. (Shafer) Nickels in Kenosha. He had been a Prudential Insurance Agent in the Kenosha area from 1964 until 1983 and had received many regional and national awards. Family was the center of Bob's life, he was a former coach and scoutmaster, and made sure his boys all got their doctorate degrees'. In later years he loved attending all of his grandchildren's events. He and Ruth moved to Tomahawk in 1984 and wintered in Arizona for many years. Bob was a voracious reader and had served on the Tomahawk Public Library Building Committee. Survivors include: Wife, Ruth Tomahawk 4 Sons, Dr. Robert (Janet) Reilly Ogdensburg, WI Jeff (Ana) Reilly, J.D. Bonita, CA Dr. Dewey (Barbara) Reilly Tomahawk, WI Dr. Richard (Eva) Reilly Phillips, WI 2 Step Sons, Dean Nickels Utah David Nickels Two Rivers, WI 3 Sisters, Mary Jean Fitzsimmons Erie, PA Delores Farley Charlotte, NC Theresa Bard Rensselaer, IN Bob is further survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 10 great step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, June, and 1 great grandchild. A Memorial Service with Veterans Tribute for Robert Reilly will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m.
