Robert "Rob" D. Lemmer

Robert “Rob” Daniel Lemmer, age 50 of Hazelhurst, WI died on Monday, August 13, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. Rob was born on March 11, 1962 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin the son of Henry and Margaret (nee Mackiewicz) Lemmer. Rob married Jodi Burkhamer on August 28, 1993 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. On March 24, 1994 their first child was born, Tyler Connor Lemmer. Then once again God blessed them with another child on July 12, 1996, Travis Robert Lemmer. He is survived by his loving wife, Jodi and was proud father of Tyler and Travis Lemmer and further survived by his Parents, Henry and Margaret Lemmer and by his Brother, Jeff Lemmer and Sister, Sandra (Barry) Lemmer Haff and by his Mother-in-law, Patricia Burkhamer and Sisters-in-law, Julie (Kevin) Thompson, Jill Krueger, Linda Lemmer and Tammy Lemmer and by Brothers-in-law, Jeffrey (Kim) Burkhamer, Paul Krueger and Jeff Taylor. Rob is blessed with many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and many awesome friends. He was preceded in death by his Father-in-law, Kenneth Duane Burkhamer. At this time of year Robert was “getting the itch” for bow season. He also loved ice fishing, where he would outfish everyone else and collecting fish for Fish Fry Friday at the Hodag. Which everyone looked forward to. He loved fishing with his father at the honey hole. Rob’s other passion was deer season with his boys in Hayward with the Daughtery family. He also loved his dogs, Bentley and Taz along with his cat, Sunny. Rob was employed by Asplundh for 17 years. For the last 15 years he has been employed by Lakeland Landscaping in Minocqua, WI. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 17th at 6:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff with a visitation from 4:00 PM till time of service.
