Robert S. Patula

Robert S. Patula, age 84 formerly of Boulder Junction, WI died on December 7th at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls, WI. Bob was born on January 16, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Frank and Bridget (nee Sharkowski) Patula. He married Pauline Kasch and they enjoyed 62 years together. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant during the Korean War.
Bob owned and operated an Ace Hardware Store in Chicago for 30 plus years and was the owner of Rocky Reef Resort on Trout Lake for 30 plus years. He was hard-working self-made man with a keen sense of humor. Was very generous to family and friends; he was very handy, he could fix anything. Bob was an avid fisherman, loved the Northwoods and a huge Green Bay Packer fan.
He is survived by his wife; Pauline and by 2 Daughters: Donna (Steve) Breckenridge and Karen (Ken) Mozdzierz and by 4 Grandchildren: Jaime, Derek, April and Jake and by one Great Grandchild; David and by 4 sisters and 1 Brother and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sayner, WI with a Memorial Gathering from 10:00 AM till time of service.
