Robert Snyder

Robert J. Snyder, Jr., age 67, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Bell Tower Residence in Merrill. Bob was born March 29, 1942 in Cook Co., Illinois, the son of Robert and Dolly (Russell) Snyder, Sr. He married Sharen Shore, who passed away in 1981. He was formerly married to Linda Buchanan. Bob was formerly employed with the Lincoln County Highway Department, Radio Shack, and most recently, WISCO Security. He was a member of the Nokomis Volunteer Fire Department and the United Congregational Church, where he enjoyed participating in bible studies. Bob enjoyed Ham Radio, model airplanes, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: Daughters Roberta (Steve) Zais Merrill Cheryl Snyder Tomahawk Brittany Snyder Tomahawk Brother Floyd (Barb) Snyder California Sister Pat (John) Kryshak Florida Bob is further survived by 3 grandchildren - Joshua, Abbigail, Zachary, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife - Sharen, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Funeral Services for Robert Snyder, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
