Rodney M. Hunter, age 64 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Thursday, November 1st at his residence. Rodney was born on December 4, 1947 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin the son of Merlin and Rosalie (nee Trapp) Hunter. He was a US Army veteran and was stationed in Germany. Rodney will be missed by all who knew him, especially his sense of humor. He brought a smile to everyone and where Rodney was there was sure to be a party. Rodney loved to decorate his property for the holidays and was very proud of the Amish buggy he restored. He was an avid deer hunter and gardener and loved to raise his ducks and geese. Rodney is survived by his Son, David Schuette of Arbor Vitae, WI and lifelong friend, Joyce of Arbor Vitae, WI and by his Sister, Vonnie (Jim) Braun of Minocqua, WI and Brother, Sidney (Joan) Hunter of Sterling, AK and by Sisters-in-law; Betty and Dorothy Hunter and Brother-in-law; Bud Saykally and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and many animal friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Rosalie and by his Brothers: Roger and Floyd Hunter and Sister: Vangie Saykally. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Wednesday, November 14th at Sisters Saloon in St. Germain, WI starting at 4:00 PM.
