Roland E. McFadden, age 86, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away May 7, 2008 at North Central Health Care in Wausau, where he resided for the past 7 years.
Roland was born November 2, 1921 in Chicago to Thomas and Julia (Corder) McFadden. He married Margaret Kuenzinger on February 16, 1946 in Chicago; she passed away October 5, 2000. Roland was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He was a Railroad Switchman for many years. Roland was raised in the Chicago area where he lived until 1980. He moved to Minnesota, and later moved to Tomahawk in 1988.

Roland is further survived by 8 great grandchildren. He was a brother-in-law and uncle to many in the Chicago area.
Funeral Services for Roland McFadden will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2008 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Deacon Bernie Lyngdal will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
