Roman A. “Sunny” Wyzlic, 79, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on December 2, 2021, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Roman was a lifelong resident of Lake Tomahawk. He was the son of Roman and Louise Wyzlic also of Lake Tomahawk. He started working at an early age with his grandfather in the winter cutting and putting up ice, then during the summer selling that ice to the summer locals and campers. His family owned the local grocery store that he helped out in. In his teen years he started working for local carpenters and chose this as his profession. He started R & R Construction, along with Randy Hunter. They built cottages on area lakes for many years and after he retired he did finish carpentry work for many local residents. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and snowmobiler. He was a member of the New-Tom SnoFleas and ran their groomer many winter nights. Sunny loved to talk and enjoyed telling stories of all the adventures he encountered throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister DiAnn. He is survived by his sister Victoria “Vicki” (Scott) Brown of Eau Claire.
Upon his wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held.
