Ronald Paul Pockat

Ronald “Ron” Paul Pockat, age 71, a resident of Sayner, WI, passed away with his family by his side, October 15, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. He was born January 5, 1953, in Jefferson, WI, to parents Donald and Patsy Pockat. Ron married the love of his life Mitzi Urmanski on December 5, 1981. Ron loved gardening, being outdoors and reading science fiction. Most of all he loved his family, especially his two granddaughters. He loved watching his Green Bay Packers and spending time with his hands in the dirt. He enjoyed taking sunset cruises on Plum Lake, captaining his friends and family.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents: Donald and Patsy Pockat; son: Timothy Pockat; brothers: David and Gary Pockat. He is survived by his wife: Mitzi; son: Daniel (Jaimie) Pockat; granddaughters: Vivian Elizabeth and Maeve Lilley Pockat; siblings: Michael (Diane) Pockat, Debra Pockat, Brian Pockat and numerous other family and great friends.

Visitation for Ron will be held on Saturday, October 19th at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Sayner, WI from 10:00 am till 11:00 am with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
