Rosanne V. Poisson

Rosanne Poisson, age 70, a resident of Houghton, MI, passed away on February 20, 2024, at Omega House in Houghton, MI. She was born January 26, 1954 in Laurium, MI to parents Francis and Mina Poisson.

Rose received her Bachelor of Science from Northern Michigan University. She worked as a Home Health Care worker for many years. She loved gardening, quilting and spending time with her family.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband: John Kemppainen; parents: Francis and Mina Poisson. She is survived by her sons: Ronald (Roxann) Baril, Michael (Stefanie) Baril, Jason (Jessica) Baril; grandchildren: Kassie, Kendra, Cooper, Ryan, Jordan, Liam, Katie; great grandchild: Ryker; brother: Francis Poisson, sisters: Linda Poisson, Dolores Ferguson; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Omega House in Rose’s honor are appreciated by the family.
