ROSE BOGDANOVIC
Rose Cecelia Bogdanovic, 73, Phillips, died in the Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was born in Phillips on August 30, 1943, the daughter of Joseph and Cecelia (Novotny) Veverka. She was a member of the Phillips High School Class of 1961. She was married to Robert “Bogie” Bogdanovic in Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Phillips on October 8, 1966. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, playing cards, entertaining and spending time with her family and friends, was a great fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers, and had a love of all animals.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert “Bogie”; by six children, Kevin (Lisa), Wausau, Kathy (Bill) Zimmermann, Phillips, Kenny (Tracy), Phillips, Keith (Marcie), Phillips, Kirk, Phillips, and Krissy (Paul) Rodewald, Wausau; by 8 grandchildren, Heidi (fiance Jeremy), Makayla, Taylar, Dakota, Brook, Brady, Logan, and Spencer; by two brothers, Stan Veverka and James (Marge) Veverka; and by her furry friend, Dutchess. She is preceded in death by her parents; by 5 siblings and their spouses, Donald, Robert (Donna), Edward (Trudy), John, Lorraine Calkins; and by one sister-in-law, Lou Veverka
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, March 11, at Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Phillips with Father Gerald Hagen celebrating the Funeral Mass. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of services. Inurnment will be in the Saint Patrick Cemetery in Phillips.
