Rose Draeger, age 79, 428 N. 6th Street, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, September 10, 2007 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk.
Rose was born August 30, 1928 in Tomahawk to Albert and Alvina (Wolter) Pertmer. She married James A. Draeger on July 1, 1950 in Tomahawk; he passed away in 1982. Rose was a medical secretary for Dr. Henderson for many years. She later worked as an administrative assistant for City Hall from 1983 to 1993. She loved flowers, playing cards, and was an avid golfer. She also enjoyed square dancing and spending time on South Padre Island with Jack.

Rose is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - James, and 2 brothers - Sam & Louis.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Draeger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2007 from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM with a vigil service beginning at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
