Roy Leet

Roy J. Leet, age 75, of N10353 Horseshoe Road, Tomahawk, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Golden Living-Riverview in Tomahawk. Roy was born on February 10, 1934 in Milwaukee to Clarence and Mary (Blazek) Leet. Roy was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. He was married to Penny Ascher on June 21, 1958 in West Allis, Wisconsin, she passed away in 2003. Roy was a litho mechanic at Continental Can Company in Port Washington for over 41 years. He retired in 1996 and moved to the Tomahawk area. He taught ballroom dancing in the Milwaukee area for many years, winning many awards for dancing and met his wife while dancing. Roy also loved basketball and coached youth basketball well into his 50's. He also enjoyed fishing and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: 11 Children: Geoffrey (Peggy) Leet Tomahawk Brigette (Philip) Machat Spread Eagle, WI Gregory (Pam) Leet Carrollton, TX Dominic (Kerry) Leet Sussex Joseph (Cindy) Leet Niagara, WI Anthony Leet Tomahawk Christopher (Kelly) Leet Hartford, WI Phillip (Anna) Leet Milwaukee Michael Leet West Allis, WI Nicholas (Cheryl) Leet Milwaukee Bernadette (Brent) Siewert Menomonee Falls, WI Brother, Norbert Leet Las Vegas, NV Roy is further survived by 25 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother and a sister-in-law. Funeral Services for Roy Leet will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Roy's son Geoffrey Leet will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
