Ruben L. Radtke, age 76, 808 Wilson Street, Tomahawk, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 29, 2012.
Ruben was born on April 3, 1936 in Tomahawk to Ruben F. and Dorothy (Bohiem) Radtke. He served in Germany with the United States Army. Ruben was a CNA and worked as a home health aide. He was also involved in Tomahawk Senior Center Gift Shop, he drove the Tomahawk Commission on Aging bus for a number of years, and his passion was rock and gem collecting. Ruben previously ran the catering department of Kentucky Fried Chicken of Minocqua and also worked at Tomahawk Savings & Loan.
Ruben is survived by his siblings, John (Nancy) Radtke of Bowie, TX, Rosemary Lawrence of Tomahawk, Gary Radtke of Mukwonago, Bill Radtke of Irma, Harold Prentice of Richmond, Illinois, Kathy Johnson on Arizona, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service with military rites for Ruben will take place on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 3:00PM from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. Visitation will take place from 2:00PM until the time of service at 3:00PM. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery privately.
