Ruth Marie Kronholm

Ruth Kronholm (nee Albert), 7604 Mounds Court, Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 6th. Services will be held at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, Highway 70 West, Minocqua, Wisconsin on Tuesday, October 9th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Kenneth Albers will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Ruth was born in Vesper, Wood County, Wisconsin on August 27th, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Adolph and Martha Zager Albert. After graduating from Rudolph High School in 1946, Ruth worked for Consolidated Paper Company in Wisconsin Rapids. She married Donald E. Kronholm on June 3rd, 1950 in Vesper, Wisconsin. Ruth then worked at Peoples State Bank in Vesper and Pittsville for forty-three years. After retiring in 1993, she and her husband moved to Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Ruth was a member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church of Minocqua, Wisconsin and a life member of the Dolphinettes- Wives of WWII United States Submarine Veterans. Survivors include her husband Donald Kronholm of Lake Tomahawk; daughters Martha of Wisconsin Rapids and Susie of Vesper (special friend, Bill Wix); and sister-in-law, Doris Neutzel, of Laguna Hills, California. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her parents, three brothers, and eight sisters preceded Ruth in death. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. at Rock of Ages Church, Highway 70 West, Minocqua. We would like to give a special thank you to the Ministry Health Hospice aides, nurses, and staff for the excellent care they provided. They were like a second family to us.
