Scott M. Verage, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly at the St. Clare's Hospital in Weston on February 1, 2015 at the age of 43.
Scott was born in Rhinelander on December 13, 1971 to Richard & Sue (Johnson) Verage. He was a graduate of Rhinelander High School. Scott married Trina Halverson on June 10, 1995 in Tomahawk. He formerly worked with Tomahawk Log & Country Homes as a carpenter and was currently employed at Rhinelander Expera Paper Mill as a rewind operator. Scott was an outdoors enthusiast and loved hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, riding motorcycles and kayaking. He enjoyed cheering on the Packers, Badgers & Brewers. His dogs were dear to him and his nieces and nephews were loved like they were his own.

Scott is further survived by his 3 dogs, Sadie, Mable & Rea.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard.
The Funeral for Scott M. Verage will take place on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church, in Tomahawk, at 11:00AM. Pastor Mark Ziemer will officiate. Scott's family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Thursday, February 5 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and again at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM.
