Sharon Jones

Sharon S. Jones, 68, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Golden Living-Riverview in Tomahawk. Sharon was born on October 23, 1943 in Tomahawk to the late Francis and Daisy (Buschmann) Gano. She was married to Glen W. Jones on November 25, 1961 in Tomahawk, he passed away in 1997. Sharon had worked at Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk as a nurses aid. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, camping, snowmobiling, and playing cards. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include: Son, Andrew Jones Wausau Daughter, Misty (Jason) Schultz Palm Bay, FL Sister, Gail (Carl) Menebroeker Tomahawk 3 Brothers, James (Sandra) Gano Irma Patrick Gano Schofield Mark (Christine) Gano Merrill Sharon is further survived by 4 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a grandson, Joel Jones. Funeral services for Sharon Jones will be held on Wednesday, August 29th, at 11:00 a.m. from Grace Lutheran Church. Rev. Rebecca Iverson will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Grace Lutheran Church Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
