Sharon Martin, age 69, Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital under hospice care.
Sharon was born December 20, 1945 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Phil and Adeline Kilinski. She married George Martin on January 8, 1972. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2011. She and her husband ran Phil's Supper Club for eight years. She worked several years as a Surgical Assistant to Dr. Kitzman in Rhinelander. She also worked for the State of Wisconsin, Department of Corrections as an Office Operation Associate. Most recently Sharon volunteered for Ministry Home Care Hospice Services and was also employed by Lincoln County Health Department as a Hearing Technician working in Merrill & Tomahawk area schools.
Sharon & George were avid flower gardeners and enjoyed showing their gardens to family & friends.
Survivors include Son, Brad (Edel) Martin, along with Grandchildren Luke and Samuel, Moscow, Idaho; Brother, Phil Kilinski, Minocqua; Sister, Monica (Dave) Devenport, Green Bay.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister, Arlene.
A Memorial Mass for Sharon Martin will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of mass at 11:00.
