Shirley Sikora, longtime resident of Minocqua, died on Tuesday, March 7th peacefully at her home. Shirley was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1936. She graduated from Pulaski High School. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of Lady Knights of Columbus and League of Women.
Shirley loved to cook, make floral arrangements, read novels, sew, sing in the church choir and make beautiful floral arrangements for herself and her family. She had a very witty and funny side that we all loved.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry and Daughters; Debbie (Jerry) Pokwinski and Sue (Tony) Landowski and by Grandchildren; John (Nicole), Nick, Mike (Molly), Jessi (Andrej’s) and by Great Grandchildren; Luke, Logan, Levi, Elise, Avery, Wyatt and Brylee.
Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 15th at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with a visitation from 10:00 AM till time of service.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to the ALS Association, 1275 K Street NW- Suite 1050, Washington, DC 20005.
