Stanford Lee “Stosh” Haling, age 65 of Lac du Flambeau, WI died on Saturday, December 6th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Stan was born on September 16, 1949 in Tomahawk, WI the son of Raymond and Patricia (nee Schumanski) Haling. He attended school at AV-W, Hall Adult Education Center, Nicolet College and LCO College. Stan married Suzanne Kintop on August 17, 1968 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles during Vietnam, he continued his service to fellow veterans by serving on the Lac du Flambeau Honor Guard.
Stan enjoyed attending Pow-Wows, spending time with his grandchildren, restoring antique cars and telling jokes. He was known as a jokester, happy and always looking to help others, was very generous and never said, NO to anyone.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne and Children: Kirk Kintop, David (Jodi) Haling, Lisa (Fritz) Schuman, Christine (Clarence Graveen) Zortman and Lawrence (Amber) Haling and by Grandchildren: Leila, Shane, Paige, Michael, Kaytlyn, Raymond, Lindsey, Nicholas, Kirk Jr., Elissa, Lilith, Robert, Victoria, Destyne, Lawrence II, Jerome and Hunter and by Great Grandchildren: Michael II, Addison, Matthew, Ava, Saphyra, William, Damion, Rhys, Lelly, Elliot, NiRaya and Micha. Further survived by his Siblings: Harold (Jill) Haling, Raymond Haling, Diane (Kenny) Donner, Perry (Dawn) Dehne, Renee Dehne , Kathy Dehne and Brother-in-law, John Kintop and Sister-in-laws: Georgine Bauer and Diane Hull and by Step Grandchildren: Klay, Timmy, Shayeleigh, Braydance, Tesi, Isaac, Triston, Tasha, Cassy, Melanie, Jayden, Dylon, Dylon Jr., Aliana, Brandee, Darcy, Linda, Bruce, Laurie and other relatives; Edward, Richard, Shelly, Sammy, Mariah, Mary Kaye, Maria, Matthew and Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his Mother: Patricia (Edward) Wright and Father, Raymond (Alice) Haling.
Memorial Gathering will take place on Wednesday, December 10th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Veteran's Building in Lac du Flambeau, WI. Complete obituary will appear in later edition.
