STANLEY DOMINIAK
Stanley Anthony Dominiak, 96, Kennan, died in the Ladysmith Nursing Home in Ladysmith on Monday, June 6, 2016. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 27, 1919. He served his country in the United States Army. He was married to Virginia Zolna and she preceded him in death in 1979. He was married to Carolann Maslinski on September 19, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois. He was employed as a Salesman by the Prudential Insurance Company in Chicago, Illinois, retiring in 1983. He and Carolann moved to Kennan in 1985. He was a member of St. Paul the apostle Catholic Church of Catawba, of the Knights of Columbus, and of the Polish National Alliance. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, watching sports, and as a young man playing baseball.
He is survived by his wife, Carolann, Kennan; by one son, Robert (Veronica “Cookie”), La Grange Park, IL; by 5 grandchildren, and by 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia; by one daughter, Caroline Barzyk; by two brothers, Ted and Edwin; and by one sister, Louise.
Inurnment will be in the Ressurection Cemetery in Justice Illinois.
